Interschool Fundraising Afternoon – Mary’s Meals - March 2023

The children had fun taking part in an activity afternoon to raise money for Mary’s Meals. We raised a grand total of £338.88 which will go towards the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.

      

Medway Cross Country - March 2023

Our final races in The Medway Cross Country Series were a success. The children’s determination and resilience was admirable. Across the whole series in the boys and girls’ categories, we came 10th place overall. Well done Team St Thomas’!

Cup Swimming – February 2023

We would like to congratulate our Cup swimming team for their fantastic efforts in the Mini Youths Gala. Team St Thomas’ came 11th out of 30 teams overall. Every member of the squad played their part, demonstrating fantastic collaboration- especially in the relays.

Medway Sports Hall Athletics - January 2023

Many of our Year 6 children participated in the Medway Sports Hall Athletics Festival; such a fantastic event, with children getting to compete in both track and field events. We had some excellent performances from both individuals and our relay teams. Well done to all of our athletes today!

Medway Cross Country - November 2022

A huge well done to our Year 6 runners who have competed in their first race of the Medway Cross Country series. We had one podium place and lots of determination and perseverance by all of our athletes to tackle the hilly course.



Basketball Mini Youth Games - November 2022

Well done to our Cup basketball team who competed in this Year’s Mini Youth Games. They played some tough opposition but the whole team found their fighting spirit and worked really hard. We finished in a respectable 8th place.

    

Sports Ambassador Training - October 2022

Our Year 6 Sports captains attended training at a Sports Ambassador event hosted by The Howard School. They learnt about how to lead different active games and delivered some of these games to pupils from another school. They learnt about the different roles they can take on when hosting interschool events such as statisticians, designers, reporters, and captains. They are all looking forward to putting these new skills to the test!

  

Hockey Mini Youth Games - October 2022

We took a very excited team to compete in the Cup competition of the MYG Hockey tournament. The children were fantastic representatives of our school and showed really good teamwork and perseverance throughout. We are extremely proud of how they played and conducted themselves all day. Best of all, we came First Place! Well done team St Thomas’.
